Hidden Talents
After many years in corporate sales, I had worked my way up the ladder into an executive level sales position that afforded me both flexible hours and a lucrative income. I began writing professionally when I found that my employers didn't have formalized proposal processes for bid work on large projects. When upper management discovered my talents, they began seeking me out for counsel when re-tooling corporate promotional materials to be used in national campaigns.
Time Off
As my daughters entered the shark-infested world of elementary school, I soon learned that my talents could be better utilized in another arena: that of our home. For a number of years, then, I "stayed home" to raise our two lovely daughters. During this time, I worked to further hone my writing skills, never fully leaving the workforce altogether.
Back in Action
Presently, I write part-time for a large corporation, and I also perform a variety of contract writing assignments. My true love affair of late, however, has become that of my blogging efforts. At the end of a long day, there's nothing better than blogging it out on the computer. Ever the night owl, blogging is the perfect yin to my yang, and I'm as hooked as I can be.
Help for Your Project
I would love to help you with your writing project, whether it be developing content for your website, ghost-blogging for your corporate blog site, or aiding in producing verbiage for corporate marketing materials. In addition, I can help with proofreading documents for your organization. I have a painful precision for grammar, so errors tend to jump off the page at me. Accuracy seems to be my middle name, so if perfection is what you seek, partners we shall be.
